Art as a Shared Practice
Adriana Bertini’s workshops bring material experimentation into dialogue with lived experience. Everyday objects, textiles, and discarded materials become starting points for exploring the body, identity, health, human rights, and environmental care.
The process begins with listening: to the participants, their experiences, and the questions that emerge within each community. Through conversation and hands-on exploration, participants investigate materials, discover techniques, and develop their own visual language. Individual creations may come together as a collective artwork, installation, banner, or performance.
Each workshop is shaped by its context, adapting materials, pace, and activities to the group. No previous artistic experience is required. Participants are encouraged to make choices, exchange knowledge, and recognise themselves as authors of the creative process.
Making art becomes a way to ask questions, express experiences, and build connections. The methodology brings artistic research and participatory education together, opening space for autonomy, collaboration, and collective care.
