Art in Action
From the body to the territory, art becomes a shared practice. Selected projects connecting artistic creation, public dialogue, and collective care.

BodyTerritory
Heliópolis, São Paulo · 2025–2026
Around 300 young people. 30 encounters. 120 hours of art and dialogue. Corpo Território connects artistic experimentation with sexual health, identity, and human rights, approaching the body as a territory of knowledge, autonomy, and collective care.
The Blood of the Earth
MaBe · Belém, Brazil · COP30 · 2025
A wheatpaste poster intervention at MaBe during COP30. Through images connecting the body and the earth, O Sangue da Terra addresses the impacts of mining and environmental injustice, bringing air, water, and human life into the same field of concern.

EURECA
Children’s Rights & the Right to Water
Santos & São Vicente, Brazil · 2023
At the Vila dos Criadores community centre in Santos, children created banners exploring their right to water, guided by Brazil’s Child and Adolescent Statute (ECA). In a community without sanitation, art gave form to their experiences and demands. The banners then travelled to the EURECA parade in São Vicente, bringing the children’s voices into the streets.

Art for Action — END FGM
Lisbon · Milan · Brussels
2012–2014
Created for Amnesty International’s END FGM campaign, these works transform paper rose petals bearing supporters’ signatures into sculptural dresses. Each petal carries a voice; together, they give collective demands a visible form.
Bringing art into dialogue with women’s rights and bodily autonomy, the project calls for an end to female genital mutilation and affirms the right to protection, dignity, and freedom.

UCLA
Condom Couture & Arts Activism
Los Angeles, USA · 2020
During her artist residency at UCLA, Adriana Bertini shared her practice through workshops and the Fiat Lux seminar “Condom Couture: Arts Activism of Adriana Bertini,” with Professor David Gere. Artistic experimentation became a space for dialogue on sexual health, human rights, and the role of art in social change.
